RRS offers both Certificate and Certification on-line Reflexology training. This distance training is tailored to accommodate people who do not have time to attend traditional classes. We have specifically designed our Reflexology Courses to address some special needs unique to this form of learning. We use multi-media technology ranging from the course Textbook; Lectures, and on-line Manual, to Video instruction and video-taped student practice sessions. From e-mail to hands-on application, we can give you modern and individualized attention. This Certificate Program will enable students to give a complete Reflexology treatment, or self-treatment leading to Certification.

This Certificate Program is a prerequisite to our on-line Certification Course. A diploma is awarded.

SOURCE MATERIALS AND CURRICULUM:
Reflexology, the Safe Alternative by Fred Rittenhouse, N.D., is the course Textbook. It gives detailed instructions in Reflexology; anatomy, ailments, herbal remedies, and in Reflexology foot maps. The RRS-Instructional Video provides complete training and demonstrations in professional Reflexology techniques. Additionally, there are the Review Sheet Series (examines anatomy, physiology, and Reflexology theory); Certificate Lecture, instruction pages, and reflex map.Two Feet

60 HOUR CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: study time--40 hours; practicum (practice sessions)--20 hours.

STUDY TIME:
Viewing of the RRS-Instructional Video, study all source materials, and any relevant published books or articles.

PRACTICUM:
Are practice sessions on actual feet including a video-taped practice session and Exam.

20 hour practicum is equivalent to 20 Reflexology practice sessions.

3 stage practicum: 19 hour practicum performed on 19 different individuals (or to the extent possible); using at least 5 different pairs of feet (if possible), one-1 hour video-taped practice session, and 1 video-taped (12 minutes on each foot) Practical Exam.

The video-taped 1 hour practice session should be sent ONLY AFTER the student feels comfortable giving Reflexology. This will provide opportunity to offer the students e-mailed suggestions on how to improve their techniques. So we need to analyze the student’s on-going progress, though not immediately prior to Exam taking.

Two FeetNo Written Exam is required for this 60 hour course.

THE CERTIFICATE PRACTICAL EXAM:
Is video-taped and sent only after all prerequisites have been received. Send video-taped practice session, required Assignments, and Documentation Logs recording study time and practice sessions (with the exception of the Practical Exam) indicating that they have been completed.

  • Students will receive a $30.00 discount if tuition is paid in full for both the Certificate and Certification Programs, for a combined tuition total of $670.00 after discount
